Ending Phase 1

Method 3: Interview

For our third method we wanted to go more in depth than our prior two methods. We decided to schedule one on one interviews to obtain data on a more personal level. We chose to focus our scope specifically on high school students. We were able to set up 4 interviews with each individual being in a different level of high school.

Going more in depth then our survey questions, we decided to structure our interview questions by:

  1. Background
  2. Desires
  3. Interests
  4. Act
  5. Value
  6. Future

Our objective for this method was to gauge interest, knowledge, and background regarding entrepreneurship. With a list of 25 questions we set up our cameras and asked away.

It worked. This was some of our most insightful data yet.

Method 3: Findings

3/4 Students were interested in entrepreneurship

2/4 Would rather create their own path then follow one

1/4 Claimed their school business class was helpful

Junior and Senior – Exhibited the most interest in the topic of entrepreneurship.
